Crossbar Alternative Provision

We offer alternative provision for young people (Primary, Secondary and Post 16) experiencing a wide range of complex barriers to education, including those who are at risk of exclusion and those with social, emotional and mental health needs or have SEN."

Crossbar Alternative Provision (CAP) Year 7 to 11

Our unique setting at Pimley Manor in Shrewsbury is home to our Alternative Provision facility where pupils who are struggling to engage in school for what could be a whole variety of reasons can still achieve in education. 

We work closely with secondary schools across Shropshire and Telford and Wrekin to provide effective alternative provision which includes; transport, education in line with the National Curriculum, SEMH support, life skills and enrichment activities.

INSPIRE (Primary/Secondary School Pupils)

An effective 1 to 1 alternative education mentoring programme for both primary and secondary school pupils who struggle to engage, learn and achieve. The bespoke programme is tailor made for every individual, focusing on their hobbies and interests to help encourage positive engagement.

Short, medium and long-term support options. Education solutions for students with an EHCP following the National Curriculum to support GCSE learning and also offering Functional Skills and The Prince’s Trust Achieve Programme.
