Talks to have new youth shelter in Brookside

The Brookside Safer Streets team are in talks with youth groups, young people and other local residents about installing a brand new youth shelter in the area to replace the old one in the children’s play area by Windmill Primary School.

£550,000 awarded to the Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) to improve lives of communities

Half a million pounds has been awarded to the PCC to improve the lives of those living within a Telford housing estate.
PCC John Campion has secured £550,000 from the Ministry of Justice’s Safer Streets fund, which was launched as part of a commitment to invest into towns and cities and ensure they are as safe as possible for residents. The area of Brookside, in Telford.
