Bulk collection offers

Telford Loyalty Card discounts available during the period of 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025

Telford Loyalty Card holders can take advantage of newly launched promotions, as part of the council's Pride in Your Community programme, view our bulky collection web page for information about charges, discounts and how to book your collection online.

The discount is available throughout the year and can be used as many times as required and means TLC holders can take advantage of a 10% bulk collection discount when booking a bulk collection.

Residents will need to provide details of your of TLC membership at the time of booking.

Please note that each year the Council reviews the offers around bulk collection discounts. 

Over 65's discounts available during the period of 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025

One free bulk collection of up to six items per household for borough residents aged 65 - 79 years old per year, per household. Residents taking advantage of this offer will need to provide proof of age.

Two free bulk collections of up to six items per household for borough residents aged 80 years or over per year, per household. Residents taking advantage of this offer will need to provide proof of age.

Other discounts available during the period of 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025

Residents in receipt of Council Tax Support or Housing Benefit receive a 50% reduction on two bulky collections of up to six items per year. Reference number must be provided when booking.

Residents who have a long standing illness or disability that limits your daily activities receive one free bulk collection per year of up to six items, per household.

How to get a free TLC card

You can download the TLC app which is available for IOS (Apple) and Android devices:

• download the TLC app from the Apple Store (iOS)
• download the TLC app from Google Play.

Cards are also available from all Telford and Wrekin leisure centres, libraries and First Points within Southwater One and Wellington Civic and Leisure Centre's when open.
