Telford & Wrekin Council has a duty to produce assessments of accommodation needs for Gypsies and Travellers. This report is intended to assist Telford & Wrekin Council in its formulation of planning policies for the provision of accommodation for the Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling Showpeople communities. It sets out the background and current policy context, identifies the estimated Gypsy, Traveller and Travelling Showpeople population and presents evidence of need arising within the study area.
