Call for Sites
Telford & Wrekin Council has a duty to identify an adequate future supply of land which is ‘suitable, available and achievable’ for housing or other economic development purposes.
As part of this process the Council undertook two ‘Call for sites’ exercises which concluded in January 2021 and October 2022. This process invited individuals, landowners and developers to suggest sites within the borough which may be suitable for future development.
The results will form part of the Strategic Housing and Economic Land Availability Assessment to inform future planning policy work in the borough including the review of the Telford & Wrekin Local Plan.
