Policy Position Statements provide guidance to planning applicants. A position statement can provide clarity on the Council’s position in responding to national planning changes or new government schemes, until a new Local Plan and any supplementary documentation can be adopted.
First Homes
The First Homes Policy Position Statement is a guidance document, informing applicants on how to apply the government’s First Homes scheme to planning applications in Telford and Wrekin. The Council has created and applied local eligibility criteria to help deliver homes that are affordable for local people.
