Council Tax Reduction Hardship Assistance

Remember: You must apply for Council Tax Reduction before applying for hardship assistance. If your weekly Council Tax Reduction award does not cover your full weekly Council Tax liability then you can apply for hardship assistance. If your Council Tax Reduction application is unsuccessful and you are in receipt of Universal Credit, you can apply for hardship assistance from the 1 April 2022 if you are struggling to afford your Council Tax.
