We have identified we need a strategy that identifies areas that are important to carers, ensuring resources are used where carers of all ages need them the most.
An All Age Carers Strategy has been developed, following extensive consultation and engagement with carers, professionals, organisations and groups across the Borough.
The Council undertook the consultation on the draft strategy throughout the period 18 April 2024 – 19 July 2024. Throughout the consultation, we promoted the draft strategy at:

What happened next?
Following consultation, we reviewed all of the feedback we received and made respective amendments to the strategy. A final draft of the strategy has now been produced and approved at Cabinet (November 2024).
The All Age Carers Strategy highlights the importance of partnership working, in particular, the work that continues with our engagement partners, Telford and Wrekin CVS, and the Carers Partnership Board.
