We are looking for adults who want to make their mark on their local community through libraries. All you need is some spare time and a love of books, reading and helping people.
All volunteers receive training and support from library staff and there are regular opportunities to discuss work with your manager. When you have completed 40 hours service we can provide you with a reference if needed.
For certain volunteering roles you may come into contact with children or vulnerable adults so you may have to complete a disclosure and barring service application form and references will also be applied for.
